Born and raised in Queens, New York, Lady Mobsta has always been the life of the party. Growing up she had stable family, growing up with both parents in the household, her sister and two brothers. She recalls her family being a major musical influence from the start “My father wrote and produced music which gave our family a glance into originality”. Lady Mobsta grew up listening to a wide variety of music, because of her family’s influence, from hip-hop, jazz, bluegrass, country; Lady Mobsta has always been surrounded by music. Lady Mobsta began performing at a very young age” I would always put on a show no matter where I was.  I've been told that starting from the age of three I was singing, dancing, rapping. People would give me anything they had in their pockets”.
As Lady Mobsta got older she would go along with her father to some of his gigs, she admired her father’s friend Gary who was a drummer. Lady Mobsta calls to mind her first time playing the drums “Gary let me play the drums and "I went off".   Everyone was so AMAZED!!!!. As the years went on her family started to notice her talent, more and more “My cousin's Joe- Naughty and Johnny Blanco started to notice my talent around 1997. Joe- Naughty produced and wrote music and Blanco would write for himself and other's including me.” They later crowned her Lil Lady Mobsta the first lady of D.O.R. Lady Mobsta from a very young age  has always been a lover of the stage, performing at school talent shows, playing the drums and eventually having the chance to perform at the Jacob Javits Center.

Lady Mobsta has been blessed to meet to some of Hip-Hop’s greats, which have also inspired her musically. From Rakim, Biggie Smalls, Norega, Nonchalant and Kool G Rap just to name a few. Lady Mobsta began writing her own music at the age of 15, along with her younger brother Clip Brown who began producing music at the age of 13, together they would a force to be reckoned with. Together they eventually took over D.O.R. which stands for a Dose Of Reality.  Lady Mobsta later took off the Lil and goes by the name Lady Mobsta; she’s here to take care of business!!!!
